A sweet friend asked me for a favor for her sweet friend, so I'm asking all of you sweet internet friends to oblige, if you would. All it will take is a couple of clicks, and the link is included so you don't even have to do the searching yourselves!
Please?
Please?
"My really awesome superfriends Sarah and Catherine are getting married, and I am about as excited as I can be about it. They are in a Facebook competition for FREE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY and the contest ends tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm EST. To help them win "like" Yaritza Colón Photography on Facebook (then "like" the picture of Sarah and Catherine in the album (not the album itself, but the picture. You can find them since there are two photos in the album "Wedding Give-A-Way Competition!" and one is of two ridiculously happy ladies - that's them).
But that's all logistics, and you're clever people who, I'm sure, can manage a few clicks with instructions. What I want you to know is that Sarah is one of my dearest friends - someone who cooks marvelous things with glee and a seemingly endless supply of patience, who works tirelessly for social justice and plays Settlers of Catan like a champ in spite of losing to me and her future Mrs. Sarah almostly constantly. She also has some pretty amazing dimples. Sarah was a bridesmaid in our wedding, and one of the people who made it a wonderful, magical day for us. In the 10 years we've been friends, she's become a true friend for life. It would mean a lot to me if you took a few moments to help her and help Catherine (who I have dubbed one of the Top 5 Best Friend-Partners Ever) win this thing!
Vote for them because I love them. Or vote for them because it's easy. Or in honor of imminent New York marriage equality (fingers crossed - Sarah and Catherine, being Boston-based, live in a state that already recognizes their right to marry). But please, do vote for them. And even tell other people to vote if you feel comfortable (as you know, I have no shame and will be shouting from rooftops before long)!
Thank you for bearing with my mass-emailing! You have it on record: I owe you one.
Love, Amelia"
It really is super easy, and for two very lovely people who make a very lovely couple. Mikey and I met them at the Jaymelia wedding extravaganza last year and they get our "What a cute couple!" stamp of approval. You know, as if we have official couple-stamping powers.
Consider it, readers? You're the best.

You, my friend, are an excellent person. Thank you so much for using your pretty corner of the Interwebs to help out - I am so often blown away by you and your kindness, but I should really stop being surprised.
