steppin' out saturday: 05.14.11

Last night we stepped out as a family to the Park Street Grille, one of our favorite casual dining restaurants in town. They have great southwestern food, and lots of local seafood, burgers, and other randoms on the menu. Plus, it's on the cheap, which I love.

This is what we wore:

On Mama:

Jacket: Target
Top: somewhere in the Old Port, but I can't remember the store name...
Jeans: TJ Maxx
Shoes: Franco Sarto (I have seriously worn these to death in my SOS posts, haven't I?!)

On the budgie:

Jacket: thrifted & gifted
Top: TJ Maxx
Jeans: Faded Glory (cuffed like Mama's!)
Shoes: Trumpette

Oh, and that fabulous yellow ring I'm sporting in a couple of the pictures? That's all binky.




I love that none of us area actually looking at the camera, but instead can't help but stare at our reflection in the flip-around preview screen. Oops.

We had a yummy meal, including margaritas for the adults and a kids' menu chicken quesadilla for Natalie, and narrowly avoided a major toddler meltdown. In all, a success! We were back home by Natalie's bathtime, and, by some miracle, all 3 of us slept through the night.... not bad!
