oh, yeah, father's day happened.

Oops, I forgot to share some of our Father's Day fun on the blog.  Maybe that's because I've been busy transitioning my kid into a new daycare and then finding out she has hand, foot, and mouth disease (I wish I was kidding).

But before the trauma of a new daycare & all the mouth sores that have popped up since, we had a quiet Father's Day on our back porch with big greasy burgers and glasses of wine and strawberry shortcake.  It was a beautiful sunny day, but not quite warm enough for our planned beach day, so we opted for the shelter of our fenced in mini-yard.  It was a pretty great little day.  Here are some shots I managed to get when I remembered to pull out my camera.
