...seriously, have you seen how much my kid has grown up in the past year?!??! And that's just going to continue happening?!?! Ugh.
I put together a little banner with a picture of the budgie for each month of the past year to hang up at Natalie's birthday party, and it was all I could do not to let that lump in my throat turn into actual tears streaming down my face. She is just transforming and growing non-stop. I guess that's what kids do, huh? Share in my strange combination of pride, misery, and nostalgia, won't you?

Gah.
This child is so a-freaking-dorable. I just can't get over how much she continues to change and grow! It must be heart-wrenching to know she's a little less less baby every day - but what a phenomenal little person she is turning into! I can't wait to see her again (hopefully soon!) :)
