There may be nothing more perfect than summertime in Maine.
This time of year means we are flooded with visitors, all of whom are ready to live it up in Vacationland. We are more than happy to jump right in and have a months-long staycation of our own. This past weekend that meant beachin' it, which is one of miss Natalie's favorite things (despite the sourpuss expression in this photo that would lead you to believe otherwise).
i'm so envious that you live near water. all of the water near us is fresh and freezing mountain lakes, not so good for summer swimming ;)
