We started our weekend off with an early Valentine's Day date night, since Monday isn't much of a day for date, and Saturday I was at work for most of the day. We got ourselves all dolled up, put the budgie down for the night & left her in the loving care of my in-laws while we went out for a fabulous, cozy dinner at our favorite Lily Bistro.
We had a lovely, leisurely meal (steak for me, duck for Moo, pate & chocolate ganache cake for both), and even enjoyed a couple of bright red specialty champagne drinks on the house (seriously, we love that place).
When we got home we realized our chance for Steppin' Out photos had pretty much passed, so we did a half-hearted attempt through tipsy giggles before immediately getting into jammies and conking out. Our bedtime since having Natalie is so ridiculously early, there was no way we could keep our eyes open beyond dinner.
