berry cute

Natalie's day planner just keeps filling up these days. Our latest outing? Berry picking! She, of course, insisted on wearing event-appropriate attire for the afternoon (thanks Jamie for the adorable onesie! and Mom for the berry sun hat!):

We went to Sweet Season Farm in Washington and picked raspberries in a secluded patch that we had all to ourselves for the afternoon. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and Natalie was in good spirits, which made for a great excursion.

Remember her newfound motor skills? Definitely made for an interesting round of berry picking, since all she wanted to do was stick her hands in the quart of picked raspberries and squeeze them to pulp. Here are some pictures from our afternoon:

And, lest you think Natalie had her grumpus on and spent the outing looking like this:

...proof that she is actually quite a happy, smiley baby these days:

We also took a trip to my co-worker Caitlin's mama's beautiful backyard gardens, which provided another opportunity for themed attire--note the massive flower headband:

This weekend we're heading down the road to New Hampshire for the Taylor family reunion! I can't wait to see all of the extended family on my dad's side, and, perhaps most excitingly, introduce Natalie to all of her adorable cousins (including two others who are also under a year old!). Pictures will surely follow early next week.
