I am probably jinxing it by writing it here, but so far having a one year old has rocked our world! The day after her party she started sleeping in later and seems to be transitioning herself to a one midday nap schedule. I'm not exactly sure how or why it is happening so suddenly, but we're diggin' it! She's also been exceptionally smiley and content over the past few days, which has made the first part of her second year of life so much fun.
Too cute! Glad the celebration was so fun for everyone! :)

oh man. she is one adorable 1 year old :) congrats to you both!
ReplyDeletethanks--she IS so darn cute!! :) i'm sad her birthday is over and kinda sad that she's already 1... but so far it's been great.
ReplyDeleteAww, what a cutie!! Mason ALMOST got a ball pit for his birthday and he got a shopping cart that we'll pull out in a few months!
ReplyDeleteGlad her big girl transition is going so well!
@ mason's mom: she is loving the ball pit, it was definitely a good (cheap!) purchase. the shopping cart was a gift from natalie's aunt, and is still a bit advanced for her but she is loving it so we're going for it! i can't wait to see pics of sweet mason pushing his around!
ReplyDeleteAw, what a cute kid she is!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry we couldn't be there, but it looks like a GREAT celebration!
thanks, amelia! we missed you guys, but i'm just considering it a rain check for a later visit from you two :)
