Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and moms-to-be and other-mothers out there! I'll be spending most of my time today marveling at my future mascara model, this long-lashed wonder that I have somehow had a hand in creating, nourishing, protecting, and sustaining. It just doesn't seem possible that she's here, and she's mine, and I am her mother. Lucky, lucky me.
